Refund policy

We at The Plate Supplier have a strict no return policy. The reason behind this is that the number plate is specifically created for you and I'm sure you understand the reasoning behind why we cant offer a return. However we also do understand that things can go wrong! Whether quality is an issue or from our end we have manufactured it incorrectly to the specification you required. We understand so we also deal with these kind of situation differently. To put into perspective, if we have made a mistake from our end, whatever it be from quality to a specific requirements, we will quickly act upon this and have a solution in place.

We at The Plate Supplier will provide your plate to YOUR specification order so please ensure you clearly input these details into your order. If it be an order that has been placed incorrectly we would not be able to provide a refund so please please double check before confirming the order. Once the order has been placed the plates are then sent for production immediately so no alteration can be made then after.

We also replace or refund items if they are defective or damaged during transit.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused and in its original packaging unless stated otherwise. In these circumstances, we may ask you not to return your item and instead ask for photographic evidence of the damages. This helps us claim for any courier insurance claims we make. So please do not feel offended if we ask for photos. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note certain card refund take longer than others but we will keep you updated along the way.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
